About NK Creations
Nigel Kettlewell Born in Marton Cum Grafton in the 60’s started a working career as a Apprentice Mechanic and after being made redundant, once qualified, move into a factory environment and remaining in that industry for the rest of my working life to date.. Hitting the grand age of 65 I wanted to make things and see creations that made me feel like I have achieved something, now building on that I would like to sell the pieces I have made, I spend hours in my workshop.
Handmade metal flowers, sculptures and lamps by Nigel Kettlewell
Based in Stillington near Easingwold, NK Creations produces unique metalwork for the home and garden or events. The items are designed, cut, shaped and painted by hand using mild steel, creating decorative pieces that are both durable and full of character.
Nigel started working with metal through experimentation and personal interest, and gradually developed a distinctive style. From colourful daisies to poppies, birds, and abstract pieces, his work reflects a passion for craft and individuality.
Materials & Finish
Items are made from mild steel, stainless steel some hand-painted using durable outdoor paint. some items are raw metal and designed to rust. The painted ones are primed and glossed with uv colour protection paint, lasting several years.
Each sculpture is made individually, meaning small variations add to the uniqueness of each piece. No two are ever identical.

New Equipment, New Possibilities
NK Creations is growing. Alongside my traditional welding and metalworking, I’m introducing precision laser engraving to the workshop with a Monport GM 60W Pro MOPA fibre laser.
This will allow me to add detailed engraving and personalisation to metal, opening up new possibilities for memorial pieces, personalised gifts, plaques and bespoke commissions while keeping the handmade character of NK Creations.
I’m pleased to be working in partnership with Monport Laser as I develop this new side of the workshop.
