Handmade Cutlery Dragonfly Sculpture

Individually handcrafted in my North Yorkshire workshop, this cutlery dragonfly sculpture is made using reclaimed stainless-steel cutlery, with other recycled metal parts sometimes used to give each dragonfly its own character.

The wings are carefully shaped from cutlery and the individual pieces are welded together by hand. Because every dragonfly is handmade, small variations in shape and finish make each one unique.

These metal dragonflies make an unusual decorative piece for the home or garden and are a great handmade gift for gardeners, wildlife lovers or anyone who likes something a little different.

Stainless-steel parts will retain their finish well, while some other metal components may naturally weather or develop surface rust when displayed outdoors. This can add character to the piece over time.
